主な業務

• 厨房が円滑に運営できるように、包丁、フライパン、スケールなどの調理器具を準備・管理する
• チームワークを大切にし、必要に応じてキッチンのチームメンバーをサポート
• 各レシピを検討し、必要な材料を集め、タイムリーに調理し、魅力的なプレートプレゼンテーションを
• 衛生基準、安全衛生基準に従って、厨房、調理器具、調理場などの清掃と除菌
• 厨房機器や器具のメンテナンス
  
• 食材の在庫管理、発注、定期的な棚卸し、食材・食品の計量・保管、鮮度チェック、古くなった食材の廃棄
  
• レシピを試し、新しい食材を提案し、顧客のニーズや要望に応じてレシピを修正
  
• キッチンエリア内の健康と安全に関するすべての規制を遵守し、リスクがあればメイやマネージャーへ報告する
  

応募資格

• シェフまたはコックの経験がある方
• 調理師学校の卒業証書があれば優遇
• 各種厨房機器の実地経験がある方
• 料理、製パン、ペストリーの技術に関する高度な知識
• 優れたチームワークと自発的な行動力、および優れたコミュニケーション能力
• 落ち着いて複数の仕事を同時にこなすことができる
• 優れたタイムマネジメント能力
• 調理技術やレシピに対する最新の知識と情熱
• 衛生管理に関する知識のある方(資格がある方優遇)
• 日本語が堪能であること、その他の言語が話せることが望ましい

We are looking for both part and full-time SNS Cafe Kitchen staff to join our Tokyo team.

At SNS you will get to work for a global company with passionate and fun colleagues. You will also become an important voice of SNS within the local community in Tokyo.

Primary work tasks and areas of responsibility

• Prepare and maintain the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales et.c for smooth operations

• Communicate with the Barista team about daily specials

• Work as a team and assist each other in the kitchen team members as needed

• Study each recipe, gather all necessary ingredients and cook food in a timely manner, as well as ensuring an appealing plate presentation

• Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, utensils and equipment, the food preparation areas etc according to company and industry hygiene codes and health and safety standards

• Maintain kitchen appliances and instruments such as cutters, knives, mixers and ovens

• Monitor food stock, place orders, regularly inventory, weighing and storing of ingredients and food supplies, check freshness and discard out-of-date items

• Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients and modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)

• Comply with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area, and point out any risk to Main Chef and/or Cafe Manager.

Skill requirements and soft skills

• Previous experience as a chef or cook

• Culinary school diploma preferred

• Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pasta makers)

• Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques

• Strong teamwork and initiative taking skills, as well as excellent communication skills

• Ability to remain calm and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent time management abilities

• Up-to-date knowledge and passion for cooking techniques and recipes

• Familiarity with sanitation regulations

• Fluency in Japanese, additional languages is an advantage
