Copywriter
We’re looking for a Copywriter that loves sneakers, music, art and basketball.
At SNS we sell sneakers. That is the core of our business. But there is more to it than that. SNS legacy was built around nerdlike knowledge of the product itself, but also the knowledge and passion for the cultures that makes the product relevant.
Our mission today is to give product (sneakers) cultural context for our audience by pairing them up with sub-cultures around Music, Art and Basketball. As our copywriter, you will be the one that put the words to what makes a sneaker exciting. Is it the details of the shoe? Is it the legacy of the shoe? Or is it the person that wore it? You are the one to describe this in words.
Why is this sneaker great? What artist wore it where? Who wore it in the tunnel? What is the untold story about the design, or what is worth mentioning again?
Your audience are both experienced and aspiring sneakerheads. They know the product – you are not trying to outshine them – you are there to add more stories and more information. And to set our spin on it. You mix straight facts with cultural references from the worlds of music, art and basketball.
You’ll be writing across the board—product detail pages, landing pages, editorials, newsletters, and captions that draws attention. Whether it’s highlighting new drops, celebrating sneaker heritage, or connecting the dots between the product and music, art, and basketball, your words will inspire fellow sneakerheads worldwide. You’ll work closely across E-com, Marketing, and Buying to make sure every story—big or small—lands with consistency and impact. You’ll also play a role in steering translations, ensuring the SNS voice feels the same whether we’re talking to Europe, the USA, or Asia.
Who you are
- First and foremost: You love sneakers. You’re deep in the culture—whether it’s Nike, Jordan, adidas, or the niche brands flying under the radar. You don’t just wear them—you know the stories behind them and love sharing that knowledge. And what you don’t know, you are eager to find out.
- You also have an understanding and passion for Music, Art, Basketball and you like to keep up with pop-culture.
- A doer. You’re proactive and hands-on, not afraid to dive in, meet deadlines, and keep things moving—even when it gets hectic.
- A sharp writer and editor with ideally a couple of years’ experience in copywriting or a similar role. You bring flow, clarity, and personality to your words.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to capture the SNS tone of voice and speak to the global sneaker community. Bonus points if you also speak Swedish, German, or French—languages that connect directly to our core markets and communities.
- Curious and independent, but also collaborative—you know the best work comes through teamwork.
- Comfortable with SEO basics, and open to using AI tools when they help you sharpen or scale your writing.
Above all, you’re about the community. You write like a trusted insider, not a gatekeeper. You can capture the feeling of unboxing a grail, finding a vintage ad, or lacing up a fresh pair—and make readers feel it too.
